Overview

In this journal entry, you’ll take a survey that is adapted from ”Special Olympics Unified Champion School High School Playbook”. In the survey, you’re asked your perceptions about your school’s inclusiveness defined here as the extent that all students in your school community are valued, respected, and supported. The following questions are designed to measure how well your school specifically includes all students in the school community.

Next Steps

The results from this survey will provide you and your class with a snapshot of student perceptions about your school’s inclusiveness, including whether responses for a given question are mostly in a positive range or in a negative range. As this student perception data is collected during this course, the results can be used to inform the next steps for the social inclusion efforts in your school.
